About

Software developer in Delhi, India. I add AI to products people already use — and I care as much about music, long drives, and Diet Coke as I do about the next paper.

Currently: Building Educollab at Tatras Data. After hours: Diet Coke, GTA 5, and a new AI paper.

I'm Abhishek Madaan. I live in Delhi, India and I currently work at Tatras Data on Educollab — a classroom app. I add AI so it can grade spoken answers, sort notifications, and keep chat fast when many people are online.

The work I like is the unglamorous middle: making chat 70% faster, taking server load from 80% down to 15%, and shipping products people actually pay for — like RedSerp and Paperbot. I like figuring out how big apps like YouTube or Instagram stay fast — then I build a simpler, honest version from Delhi.

Before Tatras I led product teams at WareWe — two AI apps out the door. Before that, an internship at Misemind moving old software to a modern setup. Same thread the whole way: make it useful, and make it hold up.

Off the clock I listen to everything, fall into papers and launches, play GTA 5, take the long drive, and keep a Diet Coke on the desk. The laptop stays warm later than it should.

I use Cursor and Codex to move faster on screens and cleanup work. They don't pick the design or the database. I still check the work myself.

A week, split honestly

Tools help with the middle of a task. They don't decide what to build. Diet Coke doesn't either — it just stays on the desk.

A typical week at Tatras. AI coding tools help me move faster — they don't replace the job.
